The Township of Scugog is thrilled to announce its return to in-person movie nights in the park and museum! Join us at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 3 in Palmer Park and Wednesday, August 9 at the Scugog Shores Museum Village & Archives for two magical movie nights under the stars.
This year we will be showing animated PG Disney film Encanto on Wednesday, August 3, which follows the story of the magical Madrigal family. Each member has their own unique abilities, except for one: Mirabel. Is she destined to destroy the family’s enchantment, or is there more to courageous Mirabel than what meets the eye?
On Wednesday, August 9, we will be showing Uncharted. Based on the popular video game franchise, this PG-13 action-packed film follows the story of youthful adventurer Nathan Drake and treasure hunter Victor “Sully” Sullivan in their quest to find a 500-year-old lost fortune of explorer Ferdinand Magellan.
Arrive early and enjoy the variety of vendors, play pre-show trivia with your friends and family, and find a cozy spot to snuggle into your chair or blanket for the show!
This FREE movie event is set to begin at 8:30 p.m. However, movie times are subject to change or undergo cancellation as per weather conditions. Please dress for the weather and note that seating will be available on a first come, first served basis.
